2022 Students Loan Application Opened. It Takes 30 minutes Plus Laptop

The 2022 Academic years students loan application portal has been opened.

This comes after the president Nana Akufo Addo signed the Ghana Card Guarantorship into law.

“It takes only 30 minutes to complete filling your student loan form provided you have all the requirements to complete it.

On that very day, within the next 30 minutes, you will receive the money to pay your school fees to continue your studies”.

Deputy Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Education Mr Yaw Opoku Mensah said this in an interview with Oyerepa FM monitored

The Ministry of Education has also said after the lunch of the new policy at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi on June 8, 2022, students would have access to apply for laptops to help them in their studies.

Any Ghanaian student in an accredited tertiary institution in Ghana studying an accredited program can apply for loan.

Have your Ghana Card
Have a personal e-mail address.
Register for an e-zwich card

Apply
After account creation and activation, complete the loan application form.

Loan Processing
Once you complete form filling and all requirements, loan processing starts

Approve Loan
Application is reviewed and loan processing completes for approval and disbursement

“Note that whatever information you provide in your loan application would be used in assessing your financial needs. It is in your best interest to provide accurate information in the course of filling this application. However, you are liable and may be prosecuted, if found to have provided any false information with regards to your loan application.

With respect to this application, the SLTF shall share information provided in this application form with relevant 3rd parties for the purpose of processing, disbursement and recovery of the loan.

SLTF shall publish your name, address, photograph and amount owed in the National Media if you default in repaying your loan.”
