The management of the National service scheme has sent message to all national Service Personnel to Remain at post despite the Strike action declared by the Teacher unions over their Cost of Living Allowance (CoLA).

Dear NSP, Management of the scheme wishes to inform you to be at post and perform your duties in spite of the strike action by GNAT and CCT. kindly note that NSS is not associated with the strike action. Therefore, we urge you to continue your service to ensure your certification.
The SHS three students in most schools have just started their mock examination and the SHS two students are yet to start their examination to end the first Semester.
With WASSCE and BECE just at the corner, students and parents showed a mixed reaction to the strike action declared.
The Ghana Education service through its Regional and District Directors of education has Directed all heads of school together with their management team to keep the schools opened, the kitchen staff has also been directed to keep cooking for the students. Some second- year students in other schools too were supervised by the NSPs to write the Examination.
