As part of the One-Teacher, One-Laptop initiative, all teachers are expected to undergo some basic ICT training to help them use the various e-learning resources that have been made available on the laptops.

A Total of 81,232 teachers have successfully been trained constituting 197 districts for SHS and 191 districts for JHS respectively. However, some Teachers are yet to be trained.

In view of this, all District that are yet to undertake their Physical and online training should please do so.

Following the successful pilot of Physical and Online training in Greater Accra and the Five Northern Regions, the Ghana Education Service (GES) in collaboration with KA Technologies (KAT) and Microsoft hereby announce the roll out of training in all regions across the country.

All heads of schools should ensure that all teachers attend the workshop without fail. NTC points
will be awarded to all participants.

All teachers must come along with their TMI Laptops. Feeding and transportation cost will be
borne by the participants.

Both physical and online training modules ends on 24th February 2023.for JHS and SHS. Each region is required to follow their respective training schedules shared with KAT and GES for effective monitoring. KAT Champions (ICT Coordinators trained by KAT) will support the training.

Teachers will receive points for their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and certificate for participation upon successful completion and assessment. Please note, no fees are charged for the certificate.

Its unfortunate, Some who just wrote the examination immediately had their certificates and others thus majority having no certificates and points.

It is something the KAT, GES and NTC must look at to clear the backlog for certificate and Points for this Course.
