Steps to Apply for PRETAG (CCT-GH) Loan on Your Phone – Online

To be eligible to apply for CCT Union Loans, you must:

• Be a member of the Coalition of Concerned Teachers – Ghana (CCT-Ghana).
• Have an active CCT Fund account.

Here’s a detailed breakdown of the steps involved:

1. Account Creation (Online Portal)

Before you can use the USSD platform for loan applications, you must create your account online. Your Regional Representative can assist you with this process.

Login to: Fund.cctghana.com

During account creation/update, you will need to provide and/or update the following information:

• Login Credentials: Your Staff ID and CCT Fund ID.
• Mobile Money Account Number: Ensure this is accurate for disbursements.
• Bank Details: For bank transfer disbursements.
• Next of Kin Information:
  • Name
  • Relationship
  • Phone number
  • Percentage to be given (Total must be 100%).
• Email Address: For important communications.
• ID Card and Picture:
  • You must upload a national ID (your Ghana Card or Voters ID).
  • A clear picture of yourself.

After successfully creating this account on the portal, you will be able to log in and use the USSD platform.

2. Accessing the USSD Platform

To access the CCT Fund services on your phone:

3. Checking Your Contribution Fund ID

2. Select 1. CCT Fund.
3. Select Contribution.
4. Select Fund ID.
5. Enter your Pincode.

4. Checking Your Contribution Balance

2. Select 1. CCT Fund.
3. Select Contribution.
4. Select Balance.
5. Enter your Pincode.

5. How to Apply for a Loan

1. Dial 711122#
2. Select 1. CCT Fund option.
3. Select Loan.
4. Select Apply for loan.
5. Enter the Loan Amount.
6. Enter the Duration in months.
7. Enter your affordability amount.
8. Enter your Guarantor Staff ID.
   • Note: You need a fellow CCT member to guarantee your loan. After your application, this person will need to approve it directly from their phone.
9. Select the disbursement Option (either Through MoMo or Through Bank Transfer).
   • Your registered number/details will show for confirmation.
   • If correct, select 1. Yes, correct.
   • If incorrect, select 2. No. Cancel. (You will need to log in to the Online portal to make the necessary changes to your contact/bank details).
10. Enter the Mandate Number and PIN. (Click Here to Learn How to generate a mandate number, if you haven’t already.)
11. Enter your Pincode.
12. Your loan will be assigned a number, and you will receive an SMS confirmation.
13. Contact your Guarantor to approve the loan for you.

6. How to Top Up a Loan

1. Dial 711122#
2. Select 1. CCT Fund.
3. Select 2. Loan.
4. Select 2. Top up.
5. Enter the loan amount.
6. Enter the Duration in months.
7. Enter affordability.
8. Enter Guarantor ID number.
9. Repeat the remaining steps as per the “How to Apply for a Loan” procedure.

7. How to Approve a Loan as a Guarantor

1. Dial 711122#
2. Select 1. CCT Fund.
3. Select 4. Guarantorship.
4. Select 2. Confirm Guarantorship.
5. Enter your Pincode.
