Applications are being accepted for Duke Divinity Scholarships. The school offer a number of scholarships that can help fund your education and 100% of M.Div., M.T.S., M.A.C.P., D.Min., and Th.D students receive some form of scholarship support.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have a previous degree.

English Language Requirement: Applicants whose native language is not English must submit official scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) as part of the application process. Official TOEFL scores must be transmitted electronically from the Educational Testing Services (E.T.S.) to Duke (institution code 5156). Personal copies are not accepted and must be less than two years old.

Metropolitan Museum of Art Conservation and Scientific Research Fellowships in USA,

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is pleased to offer Conservation and Scientific Research Fellowships to study in USA. Fellows from all around the world are eligible to apply for this program.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art was founded on April 13, 1870, “to be located in the City of New York, for the purpose of establishing and maintaining in said city a Museum and library of art, of encouraging and developing the study of the fine arts, and the application of arts to manufacture and practical life, of advancing the general knowledge of kindred subjects, and, to that end, of furnishing popular instruction.”

Course Level: Fellowships are available for pursuing research.
Study Subject: Junior fellows work closely with Met staff to receive training on scientific research and conservation practices. Senior fellows work on a specific research project that makes use of the Museum’s collection and/or resources.

Scholarship Award: The stipend amount for one year is $42,000 for junior fellows and $52,000 for senior fellows, with up to an additional $6,000 for travel (maximum of six weeks).

Number of Scholarships: The number of fellowships awarded depends on funds and resources available.

Entrance Requirements:

Junior fellows are those applicants who have recently completed graduate-level training; senior fellows are well-established professionals with at least eight years of experience in the field and a proven publication record, or those who have their PhD in hand by the deadline date. Senior Fellowship Application Procedures

Senior fellowships are intended for well-established professionals with at least eight years of experience in the field and a proven publication record, or those who have their PhD in hand by the deadline date.

We welcome preliminary inquiries from senior applicants regarding the suitability of the project proposal to the departmental areas of research.

The online application will require you to provide the following:

Project proposal including:

A statement, not to exceed 1,000 words, describing what you expect to accomplish during the fellowship period and how you will utilize the Museum’s resources and collections to achieve your objectives

Application Review Process

Final fellowship application selections and award recommendations are made by members of the Grants Committee for final approval by the Director of the Museum. The committee is composed of fifteen members of the Museum’s Curatorial, Conservation, Scientific Research, Education, and/or Libraries staff.

Due to limited resources and staff time in the Department of Scientific Research and the conservation departments, some proposed scientific analysis or conservation work components may not be able to be accommodated.

School Of Education PhD Scholarship For International Applicants At RMIT University In Australia.

 

RMIT University is now accepting applications for PhD Scholarship in the School of Education within the ARC Future Fellowship project “Transforming 21st Century Creativity Education in Australasia”, Chief Investigator Associate Professor Anne M Harris.

RMIT is a global university of technology, focused on creating solutions that transform the future for the benefit of people and their environment. The aim of the scholarships is to assist students in enhancing their RMIT University studies by providing an international perspective.

 

Course Level: Scholarship is available to pursue a PhD programme.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded in the School of Education.

Scholarship Award: The scholarship (stipend) is valued at $30,000 per annum for 3 years to be revised and the outstanding PhD candidate will work with Associate Professor Anne M Harris on her ARC Future Fellowship project entitled: Transforming 21st Century Creativity Education in Australasia.

Eligibility:

The minimum requirements for admission to a PhD program are:

A bachelor degree requiring at least four years of full-time study in a relevant discipline awarded with honours.

The degree should include a research component comprised of a thesis, other research projects or research methodology courses that constitute at least 25% of a full-time academic year (or part-time equivalent).

The applicant must have achieved at least a distinction average in the final year; or a master degree that includes a research component comprised of at least 25% of a full-time academic year (or part-time equivalent) with an overall distinction average or a master degree without a research component with at least a high distinction average;

or evidence of appropriate academic qualifications and/or experience that satisfies the Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research Training, and Development or nominee that the applicant has developed knowledge of the field of study or cognate field and the potential for research sufficient to undertake the proposed program.

The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and United Kingdom Research and Innovation (UKRI) are invited applicants for its Innovation Fellowships.

The fellowships are available for international researchers.

The funding is to support fellows whose research can help to achieve the aims of the Industrial Strategy and will lead to either short or long-term economic benefit for the UK.

The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) is a British Research Council that provides government funding for grants to undertake research and postgraduate degrees in engineering and the physical sciences (including mathematics, artificial intelligence and computer science), mainly to universities in the United Kingdom.

Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
This call is aimed at innovative individuals in the early stages of their research career either in academia or industry, including but not limited to: experienced postdoctoral researchers, those with a junior academic post or researchers currently in the industry who would wish to transition to academia.

We would not typically expect applicants to qualify as an early career researcher if they hold a senior position.

Applicants are expected to hold a PhD by the start date of the fellowship or have equivalent experience. There are no eligibility rules based on years of postdoctoral experience or whether the applicant holds a permanent academic position.

Consideration will be given to applicants who have taken a non-standard career path after their primary degree. Proposals are also welcomed from candidates who wish to re-establish themselves after a career break or other period of absence from active research.

There are no nationality restrictions imposed by EPSRC although the fellowship should be held at an eligible UK Higher Education Institution or eligible UK Independent Research Organisation. An intention of this program is to attract global talent to the UK, so proposals from non-UK nationals are encouraged.

DOC-FAM ESR Doctoral Fellowships for International Students in Spain,

 

The aim of DOC-FAM doctoral programme is to foster excellence in researchers’ training, mobility and career development, spreading the best practices of MSCA actions.

English is the only accepted language in the programme, proposals submitted in any other language will not be considered.

Course Level: Fellowships are available to pursue a Doctoral programme.

Study Subject:  The programme in the bourgeoning field of Functional Advanced Materials through an interdisciplinary, intersectoral and international approach with the participation of several partner organisations.

Scholarship Award: DOC-FAM doctoral programme promotes adequate work and employment conditions for the recruited researchers, fulfilling the principles set in the Charter & Code. Selected fellows will receive a generous salary including living and mobility allowances. In addition, DOC-FAM will cover tuition fees for PhD studies during the 3 years of the contract. Fellows will also enjoy research, training & networking costs related to their participation in the different activities throughout the programme.

Living allowance: 28,800€/year
Mobility allowance: 4,800€/year

TOTAL gross salary*: 33,600€/year
*Net salary results from deducting all compulsory social security contributions as well as direct taxes from the gross amounts. Social security coverage for the contracted fellows in Spain includes benefits for health care, occupational accident, unemployment and disablement benefits, parental and sick leave.

Research, training and networking costs: 6,000€/year
PhD tuition fees: 600€/year

Number of Scholarships: Up to 11 positions are available.

Scholarship can be taken in Spain

Eligibility: DOC-FAM doctoral programme is open to researchers of any age and nationality.

Mobility rule: Candidates may not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the call deadline. Time spent as part of a procedure for obtaining refugee status under the Geneva Convention, compulsory national service and/or short stays such as holidays are not taken into account.

ESR criteria: Early-stage researchers (ESR) shall at the call deadline be in the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their research careers and have not been awarded a doctoral degree. Full-time equivalent research experience is measured from the date when a researcher obtained the degree which would formally entitle him or her to embark on a doctorate, either in the country in which the degree was obtained or in the country in which the researcher is recruited or seconded, irrespective of whether or not a doctorate is or was ever envisaged.

Candidates must hold a degree with a minimum of 300 ECTS credits in university studies of which at least 60 must be at Master’s level, OR Candidates must hold a qualification obtained in accordance with foreign educational systems without the need for official recognition, having previously confirmed with the university that this qualification accredits a level of training equivalent to the official Spanish university Master’s degree and that it would serve as a means of access to a PhD in the country in which it was awarded.

Candidates must have a demonstrable level of English. A proof of upper-intermediate level must be included in the application; this should take the form of one of the recognized international qualifications (minimum CEFR B2, Cambridge English First (FCE), PTE Level 3, IELTS 5-6.5 or TOEFL > 72). Nationals of English-speaking countries and candidates with an official degree (including postgraduate) conducted in English or in an English-speaking country will be also accepted.

Nationality: Candidates from any nationality can apply to one of the DOC-FAM positions.

College Admission Requirement
