Those who invested ₹10,000 or more may receive an initial refund of up to ₹10,000. A total of ₹5,000 crore is earmarked for refunds.

Eligibility extends to individuals who invested in Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Limited, Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Limited, and Hamara India Credit Cooperative Society Limited before March 22, 2022, as well as Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited investors who had outstanding amounts before March 29, 2023.

  3. Click “Submit” to proceed.
  4. On the Depositor Login page of the CRCS Portal, provide the last 4 digits of your Aadhaar Number and your 10-digit Aadhaar-linked Mobile Number.
  5. To receive a One-Time Password (OTP) on your registered mobile number, select “Get OTP (Six-digit).” Enter the received OTP (a 6-digit code) and click “Verify OTP to Enter” to log in.
  6. Consent to the terms and conditions by clicking “I Agree” on the following page. On the Personal Details page, input your 12-digit Aadhaar Number and click “Get OTP” for confirmation. Your connected user details, including first name, middle name, last name, date of birth (DOB), and Father/Husband name, will be displayed. Optionally, you can include your Email ID.
  7. Enter the Certificate of Deposit details and click “Submit Claim” to proceed. Ensure accurate completion of the refund claim details, as errors may be difficult to rectify later. If necessary, you can attach a photo as proof of your claim.

Once you’ve completed the refund claim form, you can check the status of your Sahara Refund Payment by visiting the website. Simply provide the last four digits of your Aadhaar Card and the mobile number used for registration.

Typically, refunds take 7 to 10 days to process, as authorities carefully verify information before transferring funds to your bank account.

A total of ₹5,000 Crore is allocated for refunds, with varying processing times depending on the investment amount.

  4. Click on the “Get OTP” option and await receipt of a One-Time Password (OTP) from the system.
  5. Once you receive the OTP on your device, enter it to access the Sahara Refund Status page. Check your refund status on this page. If your refund has not yet been initiated, please be patient, and it will be credited to your bank account after proper verification.
