Can I do Masters’s with a 3rd class degree

The answer is YES.

Most Universities now accept Students with third Class degrees into their masters Programmes.

Formerly the minimum requirements are a good first degree, preferably second class lower or better in a relevant field of study at the same University or any recognized/accredited University.

But today Applicants with the third class may be considered for admission based on work experience and/or other qualifications.

A minimum of two to three years of working experience is required from all applicants desiring to pursue programmes at the University.

Masters Programmes

Specific Entry Requirements ; All applicants to both programmes must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with at least Third Class from a recognized University. All applicants should have two years of working experience.

Applicants with 3rd class Honours in their respective first degrees must also work for at least three year before they apply for the programme and applicants.

seekersnewsgh in an interview with one of the Admission officers in a renowned university, revealed that Formerly only students with Second class lower were considered for masters programmes.

But in one of their admission process, a few students with a third class applied, they interviewed them and it went well, giving them the chance, they performed even better than those with a better Class.

In today’s world, most universities will admit students with a third-class degree, who have some work experience.

But mostly you may be required to pass an interview before gaining admission.
