Are you due for Study leave? Or you’re planning on Applying for one soon.

Well, what we’ve observed so far has to do with the challenge of choosing a course to offer at the university.

Some also have issues with getting admission to various universities.

In recent times, due to the Government’s policy of First Degrees as a minimum qualification at the Basic school level, some don’t have to wait for study leave before doing top-up courses.

You can just enroll when the Admission portal is opened.

After Teaching for two years in remote areas and 4 years in urban areas you may qualify for Study leave with pay.

Changing management Unit after Study leave

The majority of teachers after teaching at the basic level for some time would want to change to the Senior High School level.

You need to do a fresh degree to qualify to teach at the Senior High School Level.

The Basic School Certificate ends at Basic 9 thus JHS 3 or the Head of Basic School and SISO.

You Can’t Teach at the Senior High School with your Basic School degree or Masters.
