Commencement of Tema-Accra Shuttle Train Service on 18th July,2022 Details
Management of Ghana Railway Company Limited (GRCL) wish to inform the general public that the Tema-Accra passenger Service which was suspended temporarily for rehabilitations work is schedule to resume on Monday. 18th July, 2022.
Various Test runs have been done and finalized and hence the service will be available for Passengers
The general Public is being advised it will use a restricted speed limit of 35km/h to enable the engineers/Technicians to easily Identify problems and also be sure the efficiency is at the highest level possible.
Accra-Tema has a huge vehicular traffic, hence the shuttle service will help reduce it drastically.
The general Public is assured officials of the Ghana Railway Company will also be onboard to assist passengers.
Yes, trains work in Ghana, but very very limited. The previous government and the current government have been seen trying to revive the sector.
