The Minister of Finance, Minister for Education, and Minister of Information were all present to make sure the industrial strike action ends successfully.
At the end of the meeting on 14th July between the Government of Ghana and the Organized Labour
the consensus of the cost of living allowance will be paid 15% of the base pay
The effective date for payment will be 1st July 2022.
In their earlier meeting government brought 5% to the table and was rejected by the parties.
Signing was made on live television.
Teachers are to resume school effective today 14th July, 2022.
