Form 1 student delivers in school dormitory
A form one student of the Oyoko Methodist Senior High School (OMESS), Koforidua has delivered a bouncing baby boy.
The student is reported to have had her baby inside the dormitory.
Some other students, who heard the cry of a baby in the dormitory at dawn, stepped outside only to find their mate carrying a baby.
She was alleged to have been carrying the baby to throw away into the school’s toilet.
The students then drew the attention of their Housemistress who rushed to the scene.
The baby and the mother were sent to the Eastern Regional Hospital and were later discharged.
The school authorities have since invited the parents of the new mother for deliberation on her case.
