GES Final and Long Term Academic Calendar for Schools – WASSCE Starts in Aug. 2022.

The Ghana Educational Service has released its Final and long term Academic calendar. The Calendar is prepared by a committee set by the Minister of Education Known as the Ministerial Calendar Committee .

2022 Transitional Calendar SHS

This is the Breakdown of the Tabular Calendar.

SHS 2 and SHS 3 are currently in school for their end of Semester Examination. They are expected to go on a break and report back on 7th February, 2022.

SHS 1 on the other hand will be reporting to school on 4th April, 2022.

SHS 3

From 7th February 2022  to  1st April 2022

From 2nd April to 18th April

Final Semester

From 19th April to end of  WASSCE

WASSCE will be written from AUGUST  to SEPTEMBER 2022.
