GES/ UNICEF Safe School Logo Challenge all Public Schools

Ghana Education Service in partnership with UNICEF- Ghana is Organizing a safe school logo Challenge  for all Public  GES Pre- Tertiary Schools

Theme Safe School: A Shared responsibility.

Students across the country are encouraged to participate in this fantastic challenge, Teachers and Parents are to encourage their students or wards to participate.

Participants ; Who can take part in the challenge ?

Upper Primary

Junior High Schools

Second-Cycle Schools

Deadlines 

School level by 30th November 2022

District Level by 7th December, 2022

Regional Level by 21st December, 2022

Digital Artwork should be sent to safeschoollogo.ges@gmail.com

Prizes 

Ultimate logo winner gets a Laptop, cash Prize, Plague, Product from sponsors and a tour of some regions in Ghana.

Guideline for the Logo Design 

Artwork

A4 Size Paper

1 cm Margin at all sides

Artwork must be more than three colours

The artwork must be endorsed by a parent or a Teacher at the Back.

The concept should reflect 

The theme Safe schools: A shared responsibility

Gender Sensitive

Inclusive (People with Special Needs)

Respect, tolerance, Honesty, freedom, discipline, Peace, Understanding, Unity and the Ghanaian Identity.

Concept interpretation 

In a paragraph, explain the meaning behind  the use of colours, shapes, and other elements of Design employed in the Logo Design.
