Here is Why WhatsApp Went Down today around the World

You were surprised your WhatsApp went down, Some even felts they didn’t have enough data and hence have to buy more data yet nothing.

The messaging platform WhatsApp went  down for users across the UK and around the world today 25th October, 2022.

Users of the platform, owned by Meta, began reporting issues just before 08:00 BST on Tuesday.

More than 12,000 reports were posted within half an hour, according to the service status website Down Detector.

Many people have complained on social media that they cannot send or receive messages. WhatsApp has about two billion global active users.

“We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble sending messages and we’re working to restore WhatsApp for everyone as quickly as possible,” said Meta spokesperson Joshua Breckman in an initial statement to The Verge.

It is one of the most popular messaging platforms in the UK and around the world.

The Messaging App is back online and working after 2hours.

The Meta Spokes person will be releasing the information on what actually happened soon.

But the early information reaching us indicates there was a tecnical error which was deducted and being worked on before going down.

The system has been fully restored.
