How to Qualify as a Principal Tutor in a College of Education
TO QUALIFY AS A PRINCIPAL TUTOR IN A COLLEGE OF EDUCATION
Applicant must have served as a Senior Tutor for a minimum of four(4) years and shown evidence of outstanding performance in teaching and research in the candidate’s subject area, as well as contribution
to the intellectual and professional reputation of the College.
Applicant must support his/her application with a minimum of five (5) cumulative publications, three (3) of which must have been published in recognised peer-reviewed journals.
Again, external assessors shall be required to evaluate the candidate’s publications in line with the College’s Statutes before approval.
