Requirements for Retrieval

To retrieve your forgotten index number, you will need to provide the following information and documents:

  • Your Full Name: This must be exactly as it was used during the examination.
  • Name, Month, and Year of Examination: For example, “WASSCE, May/June 2010” or “BECE, September 2005.”
  • A Valid Identification Document: You will need to present a National Identity Card.

Fee

  • GH¢00.00: Please note that the fee stated is “GH¢00.00” but it is also marked “Subject to review by the council.” It is highly recommended to confirm the current fee when you contact or visit a WAEC branch office, as fees can change.

How to Apply
