NTC Extends the Teacher License Renewal date in the piloted districts and advice Teachers to accumulate more CPD Points
Extension of the expiry date of registration and licensing of teachers in the pilot districts.

The National Teaching Council has been mandated by the Education regulatory act 2020 act 1023 to regulate the teaching profession.
As part of that regulations, the National Teaching Council registers and issues license to all professional teachers in Ghana.
This was piloted in your district in December 2020 for the registration and license of the teachers to expire in December 2023.
Since your district was used for the piloting of the exercise the council has decided to extend the renewal date of the registration and license of the teachers from December 2023 to December 2024.
This stems from the council’s inability to complete all processes and guidelines on time.
The teachers are advised to work hard on the continuous professional development points accumulations as it forms a major basis for the renewal
