EDMAT Foundation is a CPD service provider Currently doing a workshop in the Eastern Region
Titled; Effective Teaching and Learning Strategy ;
A Paid Workshop which cost GHC 75.00
But a letter sighted by seekersnewsgh from NTC indicates the Service Provider has an impending issue with the National Teaching council which is the approval of the Course, the foundation is to resolve the issue before being able to organize the workshop.
Teachers who do such courses with them won’t be credited with CPD Points.
Yes, there was approval from the District Director of Education but that doesn’t guarantee CPD Points would be awarded.
The NTC Letter reads
Suspension of training Workshop by EDMAT Foundation
The management of the National Teaching Council writes to officially ask you to halt any CPD activity to be organized by the EDMAT foundation for teachers in your Region.
EDMAT foundation has an unresolved issue regarding the approval of its training models with the Council and therefore does not have the approval to organize CPD programmes.
Kindly note that any further engagement with EDMAT Foundation regarding CPD programmes will not merit CPD points for teachers.
The council will inform you to engage EDMAT Foundation after the issues are resolved.
NOTE
It’s not all Paid CPD Workshops you’re to attend,
Some unscrupulous persons just organize CPD Points workshops for money, and don’t engage such people. always Check the Service provider from the NTC List.
