Request for outstanding salary / allowance issues within GES; Good news

Some of the  issues faced by Teachers have to do with salaries and allowances, According to the Minister of Education, the appointment of a New Director General was to help with these issues; New Director General to help with Promotion and Financing issues- Dr. Adutwum

In a letter sighted by seekersnewsgh from GES to the Regional Directors, they are to re-submit documents of employees who have issues with, Salary, allowance, Promotion, etc. to the Head office for processing.

The letter reads,

Request for outstanding salary/allowance issues within the region concerning staff

Management of the Ghana Education Service entreats all Regional Directors to kindly re-submit to the Ag. Director HRMD, soft copies of all outstanding salary/allowance issues in the region.

These outstanding issues are as follows

Upgrading/salary Adjustment

Transfer grants

Responsibility Allowance

Junior Rank promotion.

All details must be sent to the email provided.

GES Promotion, Transfer, Change of Name, Salary adjustment, etc Must be Directed to this Office

You might be contacted if you’re needed to submit something. However, the office is fully capable of requesting more data from the schools.

What you need to do

If you have any of the aforementioned issues, make sure your issue is on record.

If not, write a letter, request a cover letter from your Head, and submit it to the Office earlier than the deadline.

Don’t give any chances.
