Return to School and Start full Academic Work Strike is over -GES

Management of Ghana Education service (GES) has taken note of the successful completion of the  negotiations between the Government of Ghana and Organised laour on the cost of living allowance.

Management has also taken  note of the announcement of the Pre-tertiary Education Unions calling off the strike effective 14th July, 2022.

Following the ‘call off’ of the industrial strike by the Teacher Teacher Unions on Thursday, 14th July, 2022. management of GES is informing all Regional directors of Education to ensure Both Teaching and non teaching staff in their respective regions return to school on Monday, 18th July, 2022. 

seekersnewsgh’s observations in various Senior High Schools indicates teachers reported to school today 14th July, 2022 upon hearing their leaders have called off the strike.

However, some basic schools were still closed. All students and Teachers are to report to school on Monday.
