According to the concerned teacher, as the 2020 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) expires in 2023, the stakeholders, in reviewing the document should consider pegging the Continuous Professional Development Allowance (CPDA) at 20-25 % of basic salary judging that CPD at each grade and rank differ.

Additionally he is also calling for the re-introduction of long service allowance teachers/employees who serve meritoriously for 25years and above.

“The 2009 CBA factored the long service allowance and the PA ( which was a percentage % of the monthly gross)” he quoted.
