In a latest expose’ to be shown by Joynews features some rotten scenes when it comes to school Placement in Ghana.

The 58 seconds teaser given by Joynews shows how desperate some parents are, paying exorbitant amount of money to people to place their wards in their preferred schools of Choice.

Parent paying whopping Ghc 20, 000 plus just for their wards to be enrolled in prestigious schools.

On secret filming scene shows a woman narrating what happened,

”I assured someone to have patience but the person insisted on Wesley Girls . They are now going to the school to enroll. And it’s GHS 20, 000” She Said

School selection Confirmation and STEM Schools selections are ongoing,

The Minister of Education and the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES) were the only ones given access and passwords to approve protocol placement into Category A senior high schools.

This was to curb fraud, but The Fourth Estate found evidence that placement into Category A schools happened through a network of intermediaries that included cleaners and security guards.

We also found evidence of how an investigation requested by the Director-General of GES into allegations of corruption in the placement system was abruptly discontinued by two state security agencies.
