Transport Fares to be Increased

As we have all seen the hikes in fuel prices, Drivers and other businesses are unable to cope with the situation.

Even with things normal, Some drivers always find stories to tell Car owners, in order to swindle their sales.

For now, there is an actual problem at hand seen by all, Car Owners all over have increased sales due to increased in all Vehicle parts and things in  in the country.

Drivers have intend mounted these pressures on their unions to increase fares to make up for the loses.

In an interview cited by, On Ghana News Agency, the Deputy General Secretary in charge of Operations, Richard Yaw Amankwah Mentioned, next week there is going to be a crucial meeting since their business has been badly affected by fuel price increment.

He explained the direct proportionality between fuel price increment and transport fare increment.

Currently, a litre of Petro is trading at an average of GHc 10.10.

He also explained the unpleasant situations they had by increasing transport fares by 20%.
