Undue Delay in the Issuance of Staff IDS; – Final Salaries to be paid in September

The Central Regional Chapter of the COALITION OF CONCERNED TEACHERS does not
understand why it has taken the GES and the Ministry of Education so long to issue staff ID’S to
newly posted teachers.

The undue delay has also affected the payment of salaries to these teachers. The union therefore
pleads with the GES and the Ministry of education as a matter of urgency to generate staff ID’s
for such teachers so that the teachers could be put on their right salary scales.

This has negatively affected the standard of living of these teachers and needs to be rectified as
soon as possible.

This statement was signed by the CCT Central Regional Secretary Amoako Amos.

In a circulation sited by on social media, the staff IDs are said to be released on 11th of August, 2022. This is to cover all recruited teachers without the IDs. The Biometrics will start 15th August to End of the month so Teachers can be paid in September.

There will be no other batch. The information is in circulation on social media and it seems to calm some teachers down as they see it to be reasonable.

The hardship experience by the teachers is that terrible. Most of them have to rely on loans to survive.

The back pay will come and all the money will be use to service  loans.
