How to Edit WhatsApp Messages on Android and iOS

1. Press and Hold the message you have sent that may contain the error you wish to correct.
2. Features like Reply, Star, Delete, Forward and More option,  three dots : will show,
3. Click on More Options or the Three dots at the top right corner.
4. Options Options like Info, Copy, and Edit will Appear
5. Choose the Edit
6. The Message will be Edited for you to type in whatever you want without deleting the entire work
7. The option is available for a few minutes after which you can not edit.

WhatsApp Edit message Not Working

Well, after Checking to know how the Editing is done, most of us rushed to go and do the editing and it wasn’t working.

You cannot edit old Messages only new messages 

The Edit feature is on the new WhatsApp Messenger and not the old version you are using. Since your WhatsApp has not Expired for you to renew, you may not be able to use the new Feature.

To use the Edit feature if you’ve not updated your WhatsApp recently then you need to do that now.

Update WhatsApp manually

• Visit the Apps Store or the Google play store
• Search WhatsApp Messenger
• Your version of WhatsApp will appear
• Click on Update
• When the Update is complete Open
• Send a message to a Friend and Edit it by following the Procedure Above.
