NYU Login (Single Sign-On): About the NYU Login page and how to verify its security
145488 Views

Most NYU services allow users to authenticate with their NYU NetID and password via the NYU Login page.

Hackers may attempt to trick you into providing them with your credentials by sending out phishing email messages containing links to forged web pages that display forged NYU login prompts.

To protect yourself and your data, check the authenticity of the NYU Login page by viewing the browser’s address bar, and confirming that the URL begins with one of the two names:

https://auth.nyu.edu
https://shibboleth.nyu.edu

If so, you can be confident that it is safe to enter your NetID and password and log in.

Note, that there are a few valid NYU websites that do not use the NYU Login page, but are secure. If you are unsure about the validity of any website that is prompting you for your NetID and password, contact the IT Service Desk, open 24/7.

Information that can be obtained from the Student portal

Access All-Academic Information on the Student Portal.

You need to provide your login credentials to be able to access the page.

Vital information is sent to all students through the Portal, and your Biodata, School fees paid, and Semester Results are all sent through the students’ portal.

All registered courses can be viewed in the Students portal.

You will be Assisted by the School with login credentials to be able to register and login. Mostly login credentials are index numbers or students IDs. See Administration students records for Assistance.
