How to Apply
Wondering how to kickstart your Year Up experience? Here’s a step-by-step guide:
Click the Apply Button: Start your application by clicking the Apply button on the portal Direct Link Below. Follow the on-screen instructions to get things rolling.
Interview: You’ll be invited for an interview as the next step in the process.
Decision Letter: After the interview, you’ll receive a decision letter.
Onboarding: Once accepted, complete your onboarding to prepare for your Year Up journey.
Begin Your Year Up: With onboarding completed, you’re ready to dive into your Year Up experience!
For college-based locations, remember to apply to the college and complete the FAFSA. Don’t worry; their admissions team will guide you every step of the way, providing support and detailed information as you progress.

Fill in the required details, including your first and last name, location, mobile phone, email, and password. Confirm that you’re not a robot.
By submitting the form, you give Year Up and its affiliates permission to contact you via the provided email address.

Application Deadline:
Year Up operates on a rolling admissions process. Apply early as spaces can fill up fast. New cohorts begin approximately every six months, so if you miss the current class, be sure to apply for the next one.
Work Authorization:
Work authorization is required as their internship partners mandate it. U.S. citizens can work automatically in the U.S., while non-U.S. citizens with DACA status or other work authorization are welcome. We provide dedicated resources for DACA status individuals.
Minimum Age:
Applicants must be at least 18 years old. You can apply even if you’re still in school.
International Applicants:
Yes, we accept international students with either international or U.S. high school diplomas or GEDs. However, all students must have U.S. work authorization and be within commuting distance of a Year Up location throughout the program.

Age Limit
You can’t be over the Age of 29 when you are accepted into the program. You may turn 30 over the course of the year-long program, as long as you are no older than 29 at the time of acceptance.
