New release

UEW on Issuing of Admission Letters to Successful Applicants

Management of the University of Education, Winneba has observed that some of our applicants for the 2022 admission period, for some unexplained reasons, did not provide valid postal addresses, Email addresses or telephone numbers, which are vital information needed by University to contact our prospective students after the processing of their applications. Hence such applicants are not able to receive their Admission Letters.

Meanwhile, the UEW Admission System can offer applicants updates about their admission progress via their portals. The portal displays the applicants’ admission status as well as the programmes to which they have been admitted.

As a result, Management wishes to inform all applicants who have received admission notification in their portals to report to school on the reopening date, Saturday, January 8, 2022. Arrangements have been made for their Admission Letters to be issued to them upon arrival at the University’s Admissions Office.
