Massive Reposting Hit GNAT Officers after court Case

A document sighted by seekersnewsgh has it that, over 52 officers of GNAT have been transferred, which resulted in a court case as the transferred officers couldn’t accept the Transfer.

A new Document seen from GNAT; signed by the GNAT General secretaries Thomas Musah indicates that the court case is over and all reposted officers are to report to their new stations latest by Thursday  30th March, 2023.

The letter reads, 

You recall that management on the 6th of December, 2022 GNAT reposted some district secretaries. Following the reposting, the following district secretaries

Mac Jarvis Kutor
Christian Gbeve
Nyaaba Lydia Nadiatu
Julius Kpodo
Kennedy Amoateng
Justice Acquah
Iddrisu Issifu
Samuel Davies Yeboah
Timothy Dugbatey
Napoleon -Bonaparte Afenyo

The Ghana National Association of Teachers GNAT at the high Court industrial and labor division Accra praying for;
A declaration that the postings and reposting made by the general secretary are null and void and of no effect since they violate the constitution of GNAT among the other three reliefs.

Pending the resolution of the matter they applied and obtain an interim injunction order from the courts on the 30th of January 2023 restraining the Ghana National Association of Teachers GNAT from affecting the reposting.

The other was to last for 10 days. The letter applies to the court on the 8th of February 2023 for an order restraining GNAT from affecting the reposting on to the final determination of the case.

We write to inform all the district and Regional secretaries that the court has today Tuesday 28th March 2023 refuse to Grant the order being sought by the district secretaries to stop or restrain the Ghana National Association of Teachers from reposting them.

They are therefore to proceed with their posted new stations.

Management is by this said the ruling by the court, asking all Regional/ District secretaries to ensure that the outstanding reposting and handing over are completed by close of day Thursday 30th March 2023.
