There is nothing new, the meeting is still inconclusive,

The meeting continues tomorrow 11:00 am

The teacher unions are still asked to call off the strike but in an interview sited by seekersnewsgh.com indicates, the strike still continues.

We are sure tomorrow we’ll find a way- Teacher unions but the strike continues

Government has still not tabled anything, waiting on the teacher unions to call off their strike. 

It is almost clear the 20% is not coming, there is nothing wrong with tabling the percentage to be given.

Some teachers believe government want to start negotiations from 5% and that is why it has still not mentioned anything yet and demanding that the teachers call off their strike.

Teacher unions however are still firm on their grounds for 20% COLA

In other news

Sierra Leone Teachers Union secured 45% salary increment from their government for teachers in that country.
But Ghana government is refusing to grant teachers 20% increment.
