Power outage for From 30th March to April 7th, 2023; ECG Timetable and Areas
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is set to issue a timetable to guide consumers, as there will be an interruption of power supply to some parts of the country beginning April 1, 2023Â due to the Atuabo Gas Processing Plant in the Western Region being shut down.

The Ghana Grip company limited ( GRIDCo) and the electricity company of Ghana (ECG) wishes to inform the public that due to the maintenance works being carried out by the Ghana national gas company GNPC at the Atuabo Gas Processing Plant (GPP), gas supply for power generation has been affected.
Consequently, there will be approximate 150 megawatts of power of power generation shortfall.
This will reduce total power supply distribution by ECG until Friday 7th April 2023.
In this regard, they will be minimal interruption in power supply to some ECG customers
ECG will baffle issue an outage time table by Friday 31st March to inform customers accordingly.
