To apply for the replacement of lost or damaged Voter ID cards, applicants are required to submit a payment of Ghc 10.00. This payment can be conveniently executed through the designated short code 2221067# from Tuesday, October 3rd to Monday, October 9th, 2023.

Here’s a simple guide for the payment process:

Dial the specified shortcode: *222*1067#
Enter the amount of Ghc 10.00
Input the necessary reference details
Authorize the payment of Ghc 10 to Ghana.GOV
Alternatively, you can also make your payment at any local bank branch.

Upon successful completion of the payment, you will receive an SMS containing a transaction number.

This transaction number is crucial and must be forwarded to the nearest Electoral Commission office for verification and confirmation of your Voter ID card replacement request.

Transfer of Votes

To transfer your votes from one Polling station to the other, Visit the EC Office

Go with your House Number or Ghana Post Digital Address and your Voters ID Card

The Transfer will be done for you free of Charge.
