How to check KNUST Admission list and download letter

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has release the First Batch of Admission, Here we give you the procedure to check for your name and how to download your admission letter..

How to check Admission List

All the universities have their main portal using the schools abbreviation .edu.gh

Hence KNUST has the main university portal as www.knust.edu.gh

Type this into the Browser

When it opens check the menu bar, on the Top right Corner, First Heading, click on Check Admission Status

Click on any of the links below, to view a list of Admitted students for CURRENT Academic Year.

undergraduates admissions

International Applicants
Fee paying Applicants(SSSCE/WASSCE)
Mature/Other/Ghanaian with foreign results Applicants
Fee paying Applicants (Mature/Other/Ghanaian with foreign results)
Applicants from Less Endowed Schools
NMTC Upgrade


International Applicants
Ghanaian Applicants

Diploma Applicants
Undergraduate Applicants
Postgraduate Applicants

After clicking on the List where you belong, You can now search your name.

Search Keywords

Type in Your  Full name in the second search, Your name and Programme offered will appear.

Alternate Check of Admission List

Visit the admission status Checker Portal

Click on the level you chose, eg Undergraduate SHS, WASSCE

Search your name.

Searching with your programme might be wrong because you may be offered a different Programme.

How to Download the Admission Letter

After locating your name and your program,

Click on details

It takes you to the student Portal

Provide your serial number and Pincode


When you’re admitted you accept if you want the course and proceed to print the letter and the fees. Pay tuition fees to enable you access accommodation and then reserve a room and go and pay the residential fee into the same account and then choose the room
