Document Verification
The candidates who qualify in the final stage examination are called for document verification. The Roll Nos. of such candidates are published through the Official Website and Notice Board of the Railway Recruitment Board.
A candidate coming for document verification is normally required to report at RRB at the Scheduled Time/Forenoon and he is released by the Scheduled Time/Evening on the same day.
During verification, all the original certificates and genuineness/candidature of the candidate are scrutinized/verified.
Further, his/her handwriting, fingerprint and biometrics are compared with those taken from the candidate during the examination/s as well as those taken during verification of certificates/candidature. This is to confirm the genuineness of the candidates.
Whenever a candidate is empanelled, a provisional panel is published through the official website of RRB.
The published panel is sent to the East Central Railway, Hajipur/RWP, Bela for further processing. The candidate should not make any further correspondence with RRB/Patna. If required, the candidate should correspond with the office of East Central Railway, Hajipur/RWP, Bela.
As per the guidelines given by the Railway Recruitment Control Board, candidates equal to 50% over and above the number of vacancies of each community or as instruction received from the Railway Board are being called for the document verification as standby provided adequate suitable candidates are available in the merit list. In case any candidate from the merit list does not turn up for certificate verification or is found medically unfit or does not join or a replacement panel is asked by the concerned Railway/Unit, candidates from the standby list are empanelled strictly in order of merit.

List of candidates for Document Verification (Replacement) and Medical Examination for various
posts in Levels 6 and 5.
1. Candidates bearing the following Roll Numbers (15 digits) arranged in ascending order (not in order of
merit) horizontally have been provisionally shortlisted down from the merit list and scheduled for
Document Verification and Medical Examination for Replacement Panels of candidates for various
posts in Pay Levels 6 and 5.
2. Date of Document Verification: 12-02-2024. Reporting Time: 09:00 AM. Venue: Railway Recruitment
Board, Rail Vihar, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. PIN-751023.
3. SMS/email alerts are being sent to candidates’ registered mobile/email ID for downloading their e-call
letter from RRB’s website.
4. The candidates called for DV should produce all original certificates, mark sheets and all relevant
documents along with two sets of photo copies in A4 size paper as detailed in the CEN and e-call letter
issued for Document Verification.
5. Candidates are advised to bring six (6) passport-size colour photographs not
more than one month old. Candidates will also bring Candidate’s foil of e-call letter of CBT 1, CBT 2, CBAT
& CBTST wherever applicable.
6. In case of variation in spelling in name/father’s name in the online application and original certificates /
mark sheets / documents, on the date of verification, candidates are required to submit a relevant affidavit
executed before the Magistrate or Notary on required stamp papers stating that the referred person in
certificate(s) is one & same.
7. No additional time will be given to the candidates who fail to produce their original certificates /
mark sheets / relevant affidavits/documents on the scheduled date of DV and candidature of such
candidates are liable to be forfeited/cancelled.
8. The medical examination will be done on the next day of DV at any of the Railway hospitals located at
Bhubaneswar / Khurda Road / Sambalpur. After completion of DV, the candidates will be intimated about
the hospital where they will have to undergo a medical examination.
9. Candidates have to pay the prescribed medical fee of Rs. 24/- only. There is no other charge to be paid
to the Hospital/Health Unit for the medical examination. In rare cases, where the investigation like CT
scan, Ultra Sound, tests to rule out refractive eye surgery etc., have to be carried out for which necessary
the facility is not available in the Railway Hospital/Health Unit, then for such investigations, candidates may
have to make the requisite payment to the concerned laboratory/hospital.
10. The candidature of all the shortlisted candidates is purely provisional and is liable to be cancelled at any
stage of recruitment or thereafter, in case of any inconsistency/deficiency / discrepancy detected in the
information furnished by them in their online application or any malpractice on their part coming to the
notice at any stage of the recruitment process or thereafter.
11. It is to be noted that merely shortlisting or calling a candidate for Document Verification/Medical
The examination does not entitle him/her in any way to an appointment in the Railways.
12. While every care has been taken in preparing the result/schedule, RRB reserves the right to rectify any
inadvertent error or typographical/printing mistake etc. RRB regrets the inability to entertain any
correspondence on this account from the candidates.

Important instructions:
14. Candidates are advised to upload the required documents in the RRB Document Verification portal
https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv/ duly following the instructions mentioned therein. This portal will be active
for uploading from 7 days before the date of DV and closes on the date of DV.
15. The block date for Document Verification for absentee candidates is 13-02-2024. It must be noted that
failure to report for the Document Verification on the scheduled date will be tantamount to rejection of
candidature unless it is supported by documentary evidence that the candidate had to appear in a
University/Government examination or due to sickness of the candidate. No other reason for absence
will be considered. No fresh e-call letter will be issued for the block date.
