Headmaster Allegedly Leaves  SHS Student Partially Blind Following Dispute Over Campus Exit

A shocking incident has rocked Nkwatia Presby Senior High School, as a second-year student named Diana reportedly suffered partial blindness after an alleged altercation with the Headmaster of Academics. According to emerging reports, the incident unfolded when Diana, who had been granted permission to leave the campus, found herself in a distressing situation.

The confrontation began when Diana attempted to explain her authorized departure to the Headmaster, only to be met with refusal to listen. Instead, she was made to kneel for an extended period of time. Even after expressing her discomfort due to feeling unwell, it is claimed that the Headmaster responded callously, suggesting that administering a physical punishment would somehow alleviate her condition.

The situation took a darker turn when Diana inadvertently grasped the Headmaster’s cane just as he was about to enact the aforementioned punishment. This apparent mishap reportedly triggered the Headmaster’s anger, resulting in a forceful slap to Diana’s face. Shockingly, the confrontation escalated further, with accounts suggesting that she was subjected to additional physical abuse.

An incriminating video depicting this disturbing incident was brought to light by Nana Fianko on Twitter, urging the Ghana Education Service to intervene promptly. In the video, Nana Fianko describes the events that unfolded, highlighting the gravity of the situation and its implications for Diana’s well-being.

Diana’s ordeal did not end with the alleged altercation. Reports from a concerned commenter, claiming to be a sibling of another student at the school, revealed that Diana was reportedly subjected to further mistreatment by the teaching staff. During examinations, she was purportedly forced to write her tests in the staff common room under strict supervision, a measure criticized for its lack of empathy.

Although the school’s perspective on this matter has yet to be obtained, these disturbing events have ignited widespread outrage on social media platforms. Seekersnewsgh will continue to monitor this developing story and seek the school’s response to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the situation.

Updates on this incident will be provided as more information becomes available.
