How to apply for Scholarship in Ghana
The Ghana Scholarships Secretariat’s online application System.
Applicants are to note that, the service provided by the Secretariat is FREE and that, no Individual, Group or Third Party entity has been engaged by the Secretariat to assist any applicant.
1. Open the web address www.scholarshipgh.com
2. Create an account to register
3. Complete the application form and upload academic transcripts, admission letters and academic certificate.
4. Complete an online aptitude test and be scheduled for a selection interview in your selected district.
Tertiary Institutions in Ghana
The Local Tertiary awards are in form payment of Thesis and Bursary grants to Postgraduate Students in the Public Tertiary Institutions in Ghana.
Disability Grants
The award also covers payment of Disability Grants to the Physically Challenged Ghanaian Students in Tertiary Institutions and Long Stay Allowance for Medical Science students in Public Tertiary Institutions in the country.
Mode of Application
Application are to visit the Secretariat’s website http://www.ghanascholarshipsecretariat.com to register. After a registration code is sent to the various institutions at the beginning of the academic year.
Duly completed application forms must be endorsed by the designated institutional authority and submitted through the Dean of Graduate School to the Scholarships Secretariat.
Continuing students should apply online between 1St April – 15Th May of each academic year.
New students who had late admission should apply between 1st – 30th September of each academic year
Currently the System is closed and we will update you as soon as possible.
Do not hire a third party, the system is not open and transparent or lie during the application process, you will be found and if not lucky may even serve a jail term. You will also lose your chance of benefiting.
Genuine reasons only should be your motive. And all documents sent must be accurate and not forged.
