Accessing your myLife e-mail account first

Due to a recent Microsoft update, you will no longer be able to directly access your myLife e-mail account when logged in to myUnisa.

About myLife Unisa Login

 

MyLife Unisa Login is an online student portal designed to assist Unisa students with day-to-day activities.

Once logged in, students can access their study material, exam results thus interactive transcripts, access their digital library and even connect to student support services for help.

Here is the New Procedure to access your myLife e-mail account Unisa

The new procedure to access your myLife e-mail account is outlined Below

To access your myLife e-mail account, please follow these steps:

Go to the your web browser,

Visit Direct http://mylife.unisa.ac.za/

Enter your full e-mail address (eg xxxxxxxx@mylife.unisa.ac.za) and

Provide your  password for your myLife e-mail account.
Click on  “Sign in”.

What to do if your password is not active on myLife / O365?

It may be necessary to reset your myUnisa password to synchronise it with your myLife mailbox.

Login to myUnisa and click on “My Admin”.
Click on the “Change Password” link.
Complete the form to update your password.

Please note that this new password will be active for both your myUnisa and myLife services.

Important information for Students

During peak periods, it may take longer  approximately 30 minutes for the new password to activate on the myLife service.

If you are still experiencing problems after resetting your password, please send an e-mail to MyLifeHelp@unisa.ac.za for assistance.

Security

For security reasons make sure the site is secured and the lock on the URL is closed. If you are not sure of the website, do not provide your login credentials.

Since it’s new the SSL certificate might take time to show, but on the google page make sure the Lock on the URL is Closed before you enter your credentials if not contact IT support.
