GNAT Press Release Today ; 2023 BECE Message

MESSAGE TO FINAL-YEAR STUDENTS WRITING THE 2023 BASIC EDUCATION
CERTIFICATE EXAMINATIONS

On the occasion of the writing of the 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE, the
Ghana National Association of Teachers, GNAT, sends all candidates its message of
encouragement, and exhorts them to throw in their all, to achieve success.

You must know that you are embarking on the very crucial journey to higher education, you
must therefore enter the examination room with confidence and the “can do spirit”, and you
would come out with flying colours.

With this at the back of your minds, we urge you not to indulge in malpractices and any other act or malfeasance which may disrupt your aims and aspirations, as well as bring all the efforts and toils to usher you into a future of prosperity and bliss into disrepute.

Remember to observe all the rules and regulations governing the examinations, read and
understand all instructions before starting the paper(s), and as much as possible only rely on
your ability, and not the person sitting next to you, and surely, victory would be yours.

We are also hopeful that the invigilators would not condone malpractices and make the exams
hitch-free.

Ghana looks up to you to bear its torch of progress and prosperity, you therefore need not fail
her. Your parents, siblings and the larger society all look up to you, so you need not disappoint
them.

The future is yours, so take advantage of the Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE, and carve a niche for yourselves.

The GNAT has confidence in you all and wishes you all the best. May all your efforts be
crowned with success. We look forward to welcoming you to the arena of higher education
soon. Best of luck to you all!!
