As part of measures by the Council to digitize its operations, the Council has rolled out a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Portal to enable CPD providers to upload the list of CPD attendees to the CPD portal.
This is to enable practitioners to have an idea of the number of CPD credit points they have accumulated within the year on their personal portals.
CPD Service Providers are required to submit the names of two (2) or more staff to be given access to the CPD Providers portal. The said staff will be responsible for uploading names of practitioners who have attended accredited CPD programmes through the Providers portal.
CPD Service Providers are encouraged to ensure that practitioners attending CPD programmes write their MDC registration numbers as this would make it easier to identify practitioners and facilitate the uploading of their names on the CPD Portal.
Total MDC CPD Points per Year
In accordance with the CPD Policy of Council, Medical and Dental Practitioners should accrue 15 credits points and Physician Assistants should accrue 10 credits points per annum from a minimum of 3 events from 3 categories.
