Check your WASSCE Results; Provisional Results for 2022 Out. GES withholds 8,486 Results

The West African Examinations Council wishes to inform its numerous publics that it has released provisional results of candidates who registered for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Candidates, 2022 Ghana only Version

Universities in Ghana and their Fees 2023/2024 Academic Year

The results of some candidates alleged to have been involved in various examination malpractices have been withheld pending the conclusion of investigations into the cases of malpractices.

These malpractices include: bringing foreign materials and mobile phones into the examination hall, impersonation, collusion, seeking external assistance among others.

The withheld results will be released as soon as the Council concludes its investigations.

Candidates may access their results online at www.waecgh.org.

If your ward have any issue with the School the results will not be available online. Don’t waste your money.

Following a request from the Ghana
Education Service (GES), the results of 8,486 candidates who failed to return learning support materials supplied to them and/or destroyed school property cannot be accessed online at the Council’s website. The affected candidates are advised to visit their schools for their results

CAUTION

The Council wishes to caution members of the public to be on the alert for scammers who contact candidates with the promise of upgrading their results for a fee payable through mobile money transfers.

Members of the public are to take note that the Council’s results database is well secured and results can be authenticated.

Institutions and organisations are therefore advised to confirm or verify results presented to them directly from the Council or access the confirmation/verification service online at the WAEC website.

The results print-out can also be confirmed by scanning the encrypted QR Code on the print-out with a downloaded version of the “WAEC GH QR Code Reader”.
