The Result Online Checker for WAEC Sierra Leone has now been made available Check. To access the portal, you will find the Sierra Leone Flag displayed at the top menu bar.
Please ensure that the portal you are using is secure, as indicated by the closed locker symbol in the URL.
It is important to note that each country has its own Results Checker Portal, although the process is generally similar.
How to Check WAEC Result Online: Steps
1. Choose the type of examination you took (e.g. S S S C E).
2. Enter your 10-digit Index Number.
3. Select the year of your examination (e.g. 2011).
4. Verify that your Index Number and Examination Year are correct to ensure accurate results.
5. Input the Card Serial Number displayed on the back of your Scratch Card.
6. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) located on your Scratch Card (e.g. 012345678912).
7. Click the Submit button and wait for the results to appear in a popup window. Please note that this may take a few minutes. Make sure your browser’s popup blocker is disabled to view the results.

WAEC Result Checker PIN:
The WAEC Result Checker PIN is a unique 12-digit Personal Identification Number that is required to access the WAECDIRECT service. This service allows candidates to directly access their results and also request result verification. The PIN can be found on a valid WAECDIRECT Scratch card, which has a scratch patch on the reverse side. By carefully scratching off the cover patch, the PIN is revealed.
Scratch Card
A Scratch card is a plastic card that has a scratch patch on the reverse side. This scratch patch conceals the PIN needed to access the WAECDIRECT service. The specific scratch card for the WAECDIRECT service is marked as a “WAECDIRECT ..Access Card” on the front side.
You can purchase a Scratch card at the National Office of WAEC or any of its council offices in Sierra Leone. At times, it may also be available at other designated outlets determined by WAEC. To find out more about these outlets, you can visit the websites that provide information on the outlets.
