WAEC Head Suspect Staff are taking money to Change Grades, Ghana Experts to Upgrade system in Sierra Leone

In a Press Release,  Dated: 30 September, 2023.- The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) wishes to inform the general public that they have suspected suspicious malpractice ongoing at WAEC In relation to the data inputting of the grades process.

The acting head of WAEC has suspected that staff at WAEC are collecting money from outside the
council for changing grades for candidates.

WAEC Wishes to Inform the general public that, a thorough investigation is ongoing before releasing the
2023 Government WASSCE official results for the West Africa Senior Secondary Certificate Examination

Therefore, WAEC has hired some expertizes from Ghana to upgrade the system.

However, anyone who happens to fall victim will face a severe penalties as it happens in Kenema during
the marking process.

When someone impersonated a candidate for malpractice during the Marking
period of the 2023 Government West Africa Senior Secondary Certiflicate Examination (WASSCE)
conducted by WAEC Sierra Leone

Also, for any candidate or schools whose name appeared in such act, their results will be investigated or
Prospective staffs are advised to stay off from such act and work with the crediblity and maintain their
integrity towards the educational system.

A reverse of the data process inputting would be done with new recruited staff.
