GES Request for data on ; Teacher Audit Exercise and National Standardise Test

REQUEST FOR SCHOOL-LEVEL DATA FOR NATIONAL STANDARDISED TEST AND TEACHER
AUDIT EXERCISE

Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) with technical support from the National Council for
Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) is in preparation towards the 2023/2024 Academic Year National
Standardised Tests (NST) and Teacher Audit Exercise.

In view of this, management has designed an online data collection tool to aid in data collection of current
enrollments of all public Basic and Junior High Schools.

The tool considers the Region and District name,
the location/town of the school,

Bio-data on teachers and the learners.

The online tool is essential for GES Management to:
Determine the appropriate number of learners per grade for the necessary organisation of test
materials for each school and the learner.
Ensure all learners for the respective grade are captured for the assessment.

For decision-making and planning purposes.

Conduct reliable and accurate test results analysis based on the data submitted.

To effectively prepare for the NST organisation and administration, your urgent supervision, monitoring and
enforcement are needed to ensure an effective submission of the requested.

The data will allow Management of the GES and NaCCA to plan on logistics and training of the requested number of learners the test administrators and monitors.

By a copy of this letter, your supervision, monitoring and enforcement are needed to ensure an effective
submission of the requested.
