Holiday for Schools-GES Official Release

You may know already but it’s now confirmed

The Ghana Education Service has Declared Tuesday 7th March 2023 as a Holiday for Schools.

This is to give way to the numerous schools who participated in the 66th independence day Parade to rest before school on Wednesday 8th March 2023 for Academic work.

Ghana today, March 6, 2023, marks its 66th Independence Day at Ho, the Volta Regional capital.

The event was co-hosted with the Adaklu District at the Volta Regional Youth Resource Centre at Adaklu.

The Volta Regional Coordinating Council has itsworked feverishly to put the necessary arrangements in place to make this year’s celebration memorable since the announcement was made.

This year’s event is on the theme: “Our Unity, Our Strength, Our Purpose”. President Umaro Sissoco Embaló of Guinea Bissau, who is also the Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), is the Special Guest of Honour.
