GES Data Collection Exercise on Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued a directive (Ref. No. GES/HQ/HRMD/SEC/24/01) to all Regional Directors of Education in the Republic of Ghana.
The purpose is to enhance service delivery and learning outcomes by updating records of the human resource base at all management levels.
This initiative aims to improve efficiency, effectiveness, informed decision-making, cost savings, and accountability.
Angela Frimponmaa Nkansah (Ms.), Acting Director of HRMD, urges the use of an attached template for collating data on all staff (teaching and non-teaching) at various levels.
The deadline for submission to the HRMD Secretariat is 23rd January 2024, and individual schools or districts are not allowed to submit data – it should be compiled and submitted by the region.
The letter is dated 5th January 2024. Copies have been sent to key personnel within the GES headquarters in Accra.
