August Salary Delay
All public sector workers are excited Their Cost of living allowance has been paid with the arrears, but nothing has hit the accounts yet.
Confirm Validation; COLA Paid- Check Amount and deductions made (Tax)
In a chat sighted by seekersnewsgh, the delay in payment is due to the calculation and addition of COLA and it’s arrears.
To prevent errors the staff have to audit all accounts and make sure they are given the right amount.
Some have already seen some abnormalities in their salary during the validation.
The Delay is also due to the massive auditing to remove all available double names and Ghost names from the payroll.
So far about 500 plus names have been removed from the system.

A file which was shared on social media also indicates list of workers who were not validator due to some issues. At this point, confirm from your validator you don’t have any issue.
