Declaration of Vacancies for Teaching Personnel in SHS -2022
The Ghana Education has started gathering data from the various Senior High Schools to the Headquarters.
This data tells how many teachers are needed in the service, The subject they teach and the number/ Subject that will be required.
In a letter sighted by seekersnewsgh, the Senior High Schools are to Declare vacacies in their schools by submitting the number of teachers needed, the Subjects required etc.

Declaration of Vacancies For Teaching personnel in senior High Schools
It is urgently requested from all Head of Senior High/ Technical Schools to Declare vacancies for critically needed teachers to aid management Decision.
Owing to the fluidity of the system with regards to new appointments, reposting and attrition all heads are respectfully entreated to validate and update data on vacancy declaration to ensure that the request reflects the real need of the school.
Taking in consideration the number of periods/hours each teacher is expected to teach in a week to help avoid overstaffing and to allow for equitable distribution of teachers.
The specific request is on the number of teachers available, the subject taught and the number of periods per week.
