The Recruitment Process
Usually vacancies are first publish in the daily graphic .
Some of the vacancies are
Data entry officers.
When are Vacancies Announced.
Vacancies announcements doesn’t have a specific date. But for the past three consecutive years recruitment has been yearly. Prepare your documents for 2022 recruitment as the 2021 recruitment just ended in December. Seekersnewsgh.com will alert you even before it is seen in the Daily Graphics. Just stay alert.
Applicants must possess a minimum of WASSCE/SSSCE/GCE Ordinary Level /General
Business Certificate Examination with credits in five subjects including English Language and Mathematics. Any additional certification in a relevant area will be an added advantage.
The Recruitment Process is usually Categorized into two
1. International Staff recruitment
2.National Staff recruitment.
The international recruitment usually requires degree holders and people with special professional certification.
National Staff recruitment
The West Africa Examination council values their certificates when they are recruiting.
Do not upload your degree or diploma without uploading your SHS certificate and BECE certificate thinking it’s not necessary Since you have a higher certificate. You will even not be shortlisted.
Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for an Aptitude test. The calling is usually a phone call.
Some few will receive SMS and as time goes by you must check your email.
The next phase is the writing of the Aptitude test.
Shortlisted Applicants will be contacted to write an Aptitude test. Usually an SHS type of
Mathematics and English Language Online.
Yes the Aptitude test will be done online. Date and time will be communicated with you when they call you.
Qualified applicants are then Shortlisted for medical Examination. You will be called if you are picked to go to any government Hospital to have a Medical Examination .
The other Jobs Available
There are other jobs too thus
These are temporary jobs hence are not added to the General recruitment.
Examination officers including supervisors. Script markers. Team leaders are employed on temporal basis thus For a very short time.
You must be a teacher or have a relevant certificate and experience in the subject you wish to mark.
There are also script checkers. Students are Advice to Apply.
Those who check if all questions are marked ,
Marks allocated are correct.
Marks tally to the total written by the examiners.
This category is also temporal and people who can apply are
Or SHS Graduates . But you can’t check the year you wrote. Eg. If you wrote your examination in 2021 you cannot do script checking for 2021 papers. You can do that of 2022 papers.
Allowances given are always good. Most students take advantage of this opportunity to get something for school.
The script Checking is done for Regular WASSCE, BECE, NOV DEC etc. make sure you apply early.
