The Recruitment Process for this year
Usually, vacancies are first published in the daily graphic.
After publication then the activation for applicants to apply on the online portal on their official website. Then you can apply.
Some of the vacancies are
Accountants.
Examination clerks
Securities
Drivers.
Data entry officers.
When are Vacancies Announced?
Vacancy announcements don’t have a specific date. But for the past three consecutive years recruitment has been yearly. Prepare your documents for 2024 recruitment as the 2023 recruitment just ended in December. Seekersnewsgh.com will alert you even before it is seen in the Daily Graphics. Just stay alert.
Qualifications.
Applicants must possess a minimum of WASSCE/SSSCE/GCE Ordinary Level /General
Business Certificate Examination with credits in five subjects including English Language and Mathematics. Any additional certification in a relevant area will be an added advantage.
The Recruitment Process is usually Categorized into two
1. International Staff recruitment
2. National Staff recruitment.
International recruitment usually requires degree holders and people with special professional certifications.
National Staff recruitment
Mostly requires.
SHS WASSCE / SSCE/ GCE Ordinary level certificate and
JHS BECE certificate.
And any other certificate.
The West Africa Examination Council values their certificates when they are recruiting.
Do not upload your degree or diploma without uploading your SHS certificate and BECE certificate thinking it’s not necessary Since you have a higher certificate. You will even not be shortlisted.
Shortlisted Applicants.
Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for an Aptitude test. The calling is usually a phone call.
Some few will receive SMS and as time goes by you must check your email.
Aptitude test.
The next phase is the writing of the Aptitude test.
Shortlisted Applicants will be contacted to write an Aptitude test. Usually an SHS type of
Mathematics and English Language Online.
Yes, the Aptitude test will be done online. The date and time will be communicated to you when they call you.
Qualified Applicants.
Qualified applicants are then Shortlisted for Medical Examination. You will be called if you are picked to go to any government Hospital to have a Medical Examination.
The other Jobs Available
There are other jobs too thus
Examination officers.
Script checkers.
These are temporary jobs and hence are not added to the General recruitment.
Examination officers including supervisors. Script markers. Team leaders are employed on a temporal basis thus For a very short time.
You must be a teacher or have a relevant certificate and experience in the subject you wish to mark.
