District and Metro Offices have compiled a roster of employees on the GoG Payroll who do not have a linked Ghana Card, as documented in the HR Office.
Based on information obtained by Seekersnewsgh for the
Western Region alone, approximately 5,244 staff members lack the Ghana Card.
Bono Region, 4,779 Staff.
Similar situations are observed in other regions.
According to the Controller and Accountant General’s Department, individuals without a Ghana Card and their NIA Numbers not linked to the CAGD system by March will not receive their salaries.
Already, around 800 teachers have had their January 2024 salaries withheld ([Link to article 2024 CAGD Payroll Clean-Up Exercise and withheld Salaries of Public Sector workers ]).
Solution:
Priority access is granted to public sector workers to obtain their Ghana cards at NIA Offices nationwide.
Simply obtain your card and contact HR for system integration before March 22, 2024.
