Status Quo Maintained: Strike Continues Until Further Notice
As of today, the 29th of March 2024, the ongoing teachers’ strike remains steadfast, with no indication of cessation until their collective demands are adequately addressed.
In a recent conversation with the Deputy General Secretary of CCT-GH Mr. Sackey Nii Patrick, Seekersnewsgh has learned that despite rumors circulating on social media regarding a supposed injunction, no official communication or notification has been received by the union’s offices nationwide. The leadership asserts that they are unaware of any injunction and maintains that the strike remains in effect.

Mr. Sackey, emphasizes that until the Unions are formally served with any legal directives, the strike action will persist. It is important to note that no formal communication or notification has reached the offices of the Union Leaders, thereby validating the continuation of our stance.
Any forthcoming developments or alterations to our course of action will be disseminated through official channels to ensure that all members are duly informed.
We urge all members to remain steadfast and resolute in their support, as solidarity is paramount in achieving our objectives.

With offices unattended and no official notification received, it is anticipated that any potential legal proceedings may occur on the next working day, which is Tuesday. Union Leaders will then assess the situation and determine the appropriate course of action.
A recent survey conducted by Seekersnewsgh has revealed overwhelming support from teachers for their Union Leaders, underscoring the unity and determination among our ranks. Members are unified in their resolve to advocate for their rights and interests.
In light of the aforementioned circumstances, members are advised to continue staying at home until an official declaration is made by the Union Leaders. This precautionary measure is essential to ensure uniformity in actions and messaging.
Cause
These developments transpire following the circulation of an alleged injunction by the National Labor Commission (NLC) on social media platforms. However, without official confirmation or receipt of such directives, the strike persists unabated.
The struggle continues, and our resolve remains unwavering. Together, we stand committed to securing our rightful demands and ensuring a better future for all Teachers.
Aluta Continua!
